Harmony Leaf Matcha Latte Recipe

A matcha latte should be simple, smooth, and satisfying. This recipe keeps it easy with just three ingredients and an optional touch of sweetener. You do not need special equipment, although a small whisk or handheld frother will make the process quicker and give you a beautiful finish.

Ingredients

  • 1–2 teaspoons Harmony Leaf Matcha

  • 2 ounces hot water (just off the boil)

  • 6 ounces coconut milk (or your preferred milk)

  • Sweetener of choice (optional, a drop of maple syrup works well)

Instructions

  1. Sift your matcha. Sifting prevents clumps and ensures your latte is smooth and creamy.

  2. Whisk with hot water. Place the sifted matcha in a mug, pour in hot water, and whisk briskly in an up-and-down or side-to-side motion until the powder is fully dissolved and a light foam forms.

  3. Add milk. Warm your coconut milk or another milk of choice, pour it over the foamy matcha, and whisk again or froth until creamy.

  4. Taste and sweeten. Adjust to your liking by adding a touch of sweetener if desired. Maple syrup pairs especially well.
